Kym Billington

Founding Principal | Emeritus Partner

Kym Billington is a founding principal and partner emeritus of CCBG Architects, recognized for his contributions to design excellence and architectural education. He holds a Master of Science in Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture and Design, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture from Arizona State University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

With more than three decades of teaching experience at ASU’s Department of Architecture and Planning, Kym has shaped generations of emerging architects while maintaining an active design practice. His work has earned numerous accolades at the state, regional, and national levels across the U.S. and Canada.

Kym is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Congress for New Urbanism, reflecting his commitment to thoughtful, community-centered design. Originally from Mexico, Missouri, he finds inspiration in literature and the outdoors, especially bouldering and rock climbing.
