The Diamondbacks practice pitching and batting at the Salt River Fields complex. Rather than constructing a new building, they enclosed two bays of their existing batting cages in the north central portion of the complex, which minimizes any further impact to the site. The color and material palette draws from the existing palette of CMU, smooth stucco, and steel; the colors are rich, yet muted earth tones.
