The St. Thomas Aquinas Church is a fusion of traditional Catholic themes and an abstraction of Southwestern Sonoran Mission heritage. References were drawn from Baroque architectural sources to create an interpretation of a traditional Mission interior. Light enters the interior through high clerestory windows and is then modified and transformed as it strikes a series of surfaces and layered planes.
