Our third project for Recreation Centers of Sun City arrived unexpectedly in September of 2006. CCBG was asked to design a new roof structure for this natatorium following the collapse of the original 120’-0” span. The new steel structure is completely open to view from below. Radically changing the look of the space, and the structural system spanning the pools will serve to renew members faith in the facility. Our work included updating the finishes, locker rooms, equipment and mechanical systems.
