Brian Cassidy | AIA NCARB

CEO

Brian Cassidy has been a driving force at CCBG Architects since 1981, when he joined the firm after graduating from Arizona State University’s College of Architecture. Named President and Managing Partner in 1987, Brian has led the design and construction of high-density, mixed-use housing and faith-based projects across Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington.

Guided by a personal mission to help Phoenix become a world-class city, Brian has long championed urban revitalization and community engagement. He chairs the PHX Warehouse District Council, a role he’s held for more than a decade, helping shape the identity and growth of downtown’s southern corridor.

Brian’s leadership extends beyond architecture. He is a past chapter and state president of AIA Arizona and holds memberships with MAIBC, IFFRA, and NCARB. He serves on the boards of the Phoenix Community Alliance, Downtown Phoenix Community Development Corporation, the Salvation Army, and the Downtown YMCA.

His contributions have earned him numerous honors, including the AIA Arizona Architects Medal (2014) and the Phoenix Community Alliance City Center Starr Award (2019), which he considers his most meaningful recognition. In 2026, AZRE Magazine named him one of its People to Know in Commercial Real Estate in the Architects category.

Brian’s enduring commitment to design excellence, civic leadership, and regional impact continues to shape the built environment and inspire the next generation of architects.
