George Rivera is a second-generation architect with deep roots in the San Diego area. At CCBG Architects, he brings early design ideas to life through AutoCAD, exploring multiple schemes and contributing fresh concepts that elevate team collaboration. Licensed in California since 2019, George specializes in fire stations, auto dealerships, and residential master-planned communities. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, NCARB, and Save Our Heritage.
George studied architecture at San Diego Mesa College and continues to expand his perspective through travel, especially to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage sites. His passion for design is shared at home, where his wife works in the lighting industry, sparking plenty of illuminating conversations.
Outside the studio, George enjoys hiking, beach days, and cheering on his sons at basketball and baseball games. A fun fact: He enjoys watching home remodel TV shows.
Best business advice he’s received: “Better to seen than to be heard. Take initiative. Always leave a project site with a solution in mind.”
Best business advice he’s given: “Always try to make a connection with people/clients. Everything we do has relatable skills with experience.”
